I grew up in Gunma, a place far from the sea, yet I have always harbored a deep admiration for the ocean. As a child, I would read books about yachts with great excitement. This interest evolved into a hobby of fishing, and I would often take out my small boat to spend time on the sea whenever I found the opportunity. These experiences, which began as a pastime, eventually made me aware of various challenges and led me to realize the vast potential the maritime world holds.

With this in mind, the Yasuda Shipyard Group has embraced the mission of “Transforming Japan from the Waterfront” “Creating a Culture of Pleasure Boating” and “Designing a True Luxury Lifestyle” as the foundation of our business activities.

We strive to make the most of Japan’s rich natural environment and the warmth of its people, aiming to create an even more attractive country that we can proudly present to the world. Specifically, we are working on regional revitalization projects in areas such as Shimoda City in Shizuoka Prefecture, Miura City in Kanagawa Prefecture, and Chatan Town in Okinawa Prefecture.

Additionally, we aim to introduce world-class products to Japan’s luxury market, establishing regions and services that cater to affluent customers. Through these efforts, we hope to promote investment-driven inbound tourism, create new cultural landscapes, and develop regions into internationally appealing cities. We believe that such regions will become aspirational destinations for both domestic and international affluent individuals, thereby broadening the possibilities for further regional revitalization.

Lastly, we believe that creating places that capture the imagination and admiration of people is crucial. By developing areas where people naturally congregate out of admiration, we envision these regions becoming economically viable and sustainable communities.
