１２V-71のカム山に段つきの磨耗ができています。これではタイミング調整をしても
減ってるところはずれてしまいます。中古パーツを流用して修理しました。
Abrasion is done to a cam of 12V -71. It is out of order even if I adjust it in this in the timing of the engine. I repaired it with our used part.

羽田のバイクショップ社長のバイクを以前譲ってもらい、現在まで乗っています。当初は何もいじるところが無く絶好調でしたが、自分のカラーに改造するにつれバランスをくずしてしまいました。１番いい時で１２８PS〔ノーマルは９８PS〕でましたが、いじするにはまめな整備が必要です
吸排気と点火タイミングのみで、エンジン本体はノーマルです。最後の詰めはダイノマシンの有るお店でTMRの調整をしてもらいました。最近のマシンは早いので勝負になりませんが、長く付き合えるバイクだと思います。
いじるところが多い物は楽しみも多いです。
To be a state of the standard is 98PS.

ＧＭスターターモーターの分解整備。
GMのスターターについているソレノイドです。電気は着ているが回らないとのことでした。分解してみると、接続端子がぐるっと回ってしまい切れて中でショートしていました。結線するときは締めすぎや端子の供回りに注意してください。
Though electricity wears it to a solenoid, I do not operate definitely. There was the terminal where the wire led to the solenoid inside, but it was cut off. As for it, inappropriate installation at the time of the connection by the third person is a factor.
The terminal that must not move turned by overtorque. Therefore, I think that a wire was cut off inside.
６V-92の水漏れ修理をしたときのものです。ラジエターキャップから漏れたように見えますが、ネック
の部分からもれていました。GMの一部のタイプはここだけ交換が可能です。
It is a state of the water leak repair of 6V -92.
It seemed to leak out from CAP, but, actually, leaked out from the base of the installation.
Because this part is exchangeable, I can repair some GM.
MTU２０００-８Vのメインベアリングのキャップを外しているところ。SSTを使ってまっすぐに外せと先生はしきりに言っています。ガイドの棒はつくれそうですが、使わないと外せないわけでは有りません。スライドハンマーも必要かどうかは意見が分かれました。講師はマニュアルの指示に忠実にしたがっています。このあたりもアメリカと日本では意見が分かれるところでしょうか。 ちなみにベアリングキャップボルトは2本同時に締めろと指示されました。マニュアルにも書いてあるようです。
I am excluding a chief of the main bearing of MTU2000- 8V. The teacher says that I take straight it off with SST frequently. I seem to be able to make the stick of the guide, but I cannot take it off unless I use it, and there is not it. An opinion was divided whether the slide hammer was necessary. v
自分の趣味に家族を巻き込む為、以前製作したスペシャライズド製プレイバイクP-1。かごとスタンドを無理やりつけて、ママチャリにしたMTBで、リムやブレーキ、フロントのギヤとガードなどを変更して階段でも降りれる仕様になっています。ギヤは無くシンプルなタイプで最近一部では、はやってるらしい。さすがに量販店の１万円の自転車とは違いますから、使う人も以前より自転車で遠くまで出かけるようになりおおむね好評です。
船でも何でも改造するのは、面白いです。

黒鉛をはいて走らない、回転が上がらないなどの報告を受けて点検した日野のエンジン。排気ホースから漏れた排気ガスを再度すいこんでいました。それを放置して使っていたため、タービンの中はカーボンが固まりホイールが回っていません。これでは調子悪いはずです。まだ大丈夫だと先延ばしにして結果タービンをOHすることになってしまいました。排気漏れだけで修理していれば余計なコストがかからなかったと思われます。
This engine gives a large quantity of black smoke from an exhaust pipe. The one of the causes was re-absorption of the exhaust gas which leaked. Therefore carbon accumulated in the turbine housing inside, and a turbo finally locked it.I removed a problem, and the engine became smooth.The captain of the ship of this engine continued steering a ship leaving the leak of the exhaust gas.As a result, I was necessary to unnecessary repair.
このサングラスはWILEY XのSG-1とXL-1です。運転中などレイバンを使っていますが、先月の射撃ツアーでシューティンググラスが必要になり購入しました。実際の事故事例〔目を守った〕がメーカーのサイトに数多くあり興味深いです。軍用規格を通った物は丈夫な物が多く、惹かれます。つい勢いで購入しました。共に写ったパソコンは普通のレッツノートです。ビジネスユースで大変使いやすい。ただ造船所では外でも使うので、やはりタフブックがほしかった。みんな手荒く使用するので、電子機器はすぐ破壊されてしまいますから！ フロリダのパトカーにもタフブックが付いてました。スペックも必要ですが、実績を残している物は自然と評価され広まっていくようです。

清水ポンプとオイルクーラーを結ぶ清水ラインの通り道にホースでジョイントされている場所があります。 右前のマウントの上を通るのですが、マウントに当たっているものや海水ラインのパイプと干渉している物などがあり薄くなっていることがあります。古くなると弱くなって切れたり、運転中に破裂することもある為注意が必要です。純正のホースは高価ですが、厚みや材質など考慮されています。ご自分のエンジンでも確認してみてください。

船を扱っていると工具の種類がどんどん増えていきます。車しか触らない時は工具箱1個でした。造船所で仕事しだしてからは、年々増えていきます。スナップオンやマックのアメリカ製の工具は便利な物がいっぱいあります。日本人は手先が器用だから自分で工具を改造したり工夫しますが、あちらの人は大きい手で作業するので工具が発達するのでしょうか？他のメカニックもKTC,コーケン、TONE,ハゼット、PBと好きな物を使っています。安くて精度が高ければゆうことないですね。

CATエンジンのインタークーラー整備。パイプ周りの水漏れ修理を定期整備の時に発見し直している物。
早めの発見で、SEAL交換のみで終了しました。

取り外し直後。ブローバイガスやターボからのオイルなどで汚れています。

D２８４２LE406のエンジン整備。お客様の依頼で、エンジンのコンプレッションを測定しています。以前にもDATAをとったので、コンディションを見るのに参考になります。このエンジンはその他にも冷却系などシーズン前の整備作業を行っています。
※圧縮圧力は測定できる機種と、出来ない機種があります。アダプターにも種類がある為すべての機種には対応しておりません。
By the request of the visitor, I measure the cylinder pressure of the engine. Because I took DATA before, I serve as a reference to look at the condition. This engine works on cooling system maintenance before the season in others. The compression pressure has the model that I can measure and the model that I do not have. これはＧＭ６Ｖ－７１のガバナーのカバーをあけて調整をしているところです。
エンジンの回転数やアイドリングなどの調整のほかにも、２サイクルのＧＭには多くの調整があり組み終わった後が時間がかかります。製造されてから年月がたっているので、古くなり過去の重要なＤＡＴＡが失われつつあります。幸いＧＭのスペシャリストが安田にはいるので、私はそんなに心配していませんが。

オーバーホール作業が終了して塗装をまつエンジン。このエンジンはピストンのトラブルを発見した為、問題を解決して船内へ搬入。安田造船へきたときは２０００回転で２１ノットまでしかでない状態でしたが、現在ならしをおえて、２４５０回転で２８．７ノットから２９まで回復しました。
As for this former engine, 21 knots were limits. However, I complete overhaul and can make 29 knots in 2450RPM now.
シャフトを支持するブラケットにはカットレスベアリングが入っています。これらは消耗品で少しつ"つへっていきますので、船体を上架したときなどにチェックしてみてください。ガタが大きすぎたり、片べりがはじまっていたらエンジンの軸心の調整やカットレスの交換などを検討する場合があります。特にゴムのエンジンマウントは経年劣化でへたってくるので、軸心調整だけでも１年に１回位おこなえるといいですね。
Cutless bearing is in the bracket in support of a shaft.
ブロワーの下にアフタークーラーがあるタイプのエンジンは、ブロワーを外すとこのようなアフタークーラーのコアが現れます。普段はなかなか清掃できないパーツです。
このくぼみの部分にアフタークーラーが納まります。先に見えるスリーブの穴がシリンダーの吸気ポートです。
ポートの長さと角度の違う物が数タイプ在ります。
92 series of GM has an aftercooler under a blower.
Time when I took off a blower is a chance of the cleaning.
発電機が止まったとの報告をうけ、若手２名が点検したところ、排気ミキシングのつまりを発見。
写真は穴が小さく見えていますが、外したときは完全にふさがっていました。どこが悪いのｊか、源因は何か早く発見するのはとても重要です。見てのとおり外からでは詰まってるようには見えません。

２０００シリーズの８Ｖ，１２Ｖ１６Ｖなどシングルからツインに切り替えるバルブが、タービンの排気出口についています。これが意外とトラブルが多く、作動不良をおこしているものがありました。
分解整備で直る場合がほとんどですが、ばらしてみないと中の状況はわかりません。焼けてブッシングが取れないものもあります。
Because it is exposed to a high temperature, the part constituting this valve needs periodical maintenance. If exercise is bad, this part causes a trouble.
ＭＴＵ８Ｖ－２０００のプレートクーラー周りの分解をしているところです。ＣＡＴのエンジンでも見かけるこの熱交換器。慣れれば整備しやすそうですが、違うタイプのプレートを組み合わせて型にしているため、研修中も組み間違いを起こしている物をよく目にしました。空冷エンジンのフィンのようで、個人的には格好いいと思いますがどうですか？

定期検査時のクラッチオーバーホール作業のようすです。
クラッチ盤など交換し、ベアリング等内部部品を点検しています。部品の疲労がわかりずらいので、管理するのがエンジンより難しいかも知れません。

ほぼ毎日使用するので、煙は黒鉛がでていました。ピストン、メタル、ノズルチップなどの交換とヘッドの整備。
及び燃料噴射ポンプのオーバーホールで黒鉛は解消しました。

場外射撃場にて。バレット対物狙撃銃とにやけるＳさん。これがＭ８２Ａ１なのかＭ９５なのか私にはわかりません。ＵＳＡでは普通に購入できるそうですが、スポーツシューティングとは言いがたい代物。下調べでは連続発射可能とのことだったが、マズルからでる煙で前が見えず、音にびびり、1発つ"つうちました。

作業中にＧＭのピストンパーツを並べてみました。４サイクルのピストンとは少し違っています。リングの数や２分割のピストンなど興味深いです。

排気バルブが切れてシリンダー内を駄目にしてしまったエンジン。切れたバルブの破片はturboの羽もやっつけて、外へでていきました。プレジャーボートの長時間の全開運転はエンジンにストレスを与えています。
排気温度、水温、ＭＡＸの時間などエンジンごとにリミットが定められていますので、十分注意してください.
Because a valve was cut as for this engine, I catch the damage to the cylinder inside and a head. The broken valve breaks the turbine wheel.
これはＭＡＮディーゼルエンジンの噴射ポンプです。エンジンオーバーホール時に一緒に作業した時のものですが、写真中央に見えるカムシャフトに偏磨耗が有り交換をポンプメーカーより進められました。たまたま当社に部品どり用のポンプがあったので、費用を抑えることが出来ました。(写真提供,昭和）
中が見えない部品は症状だけで判断するのがむずかしいです。
This is a Fuel pump of the MAN diesel engine. Abrasion was found in the camshaft seen in the photograph center, It was ordered exchange to the pump maker and changed it as an additional part. It is difficult for the inside to judge the invisible part from only a symptom.

このアタッシュケースなんだかわかるでしょうか？実はこれダミー信号をだすエンジンシュミレーターです。回転の変更からセンサーのトラブルまでさまざまな状況を作り出していました。どこでもトラブルシュートの勉強ができるようにメーカーが作ったのだそうです。
下の写真は、研修センターにあるＭＴＵ１２Ｖ４０００シリーズのエンジン。 構内を移動する時１人で押すことが出来ます。スタンドに仕組みがあり、スイッチを入れると空気で浮いていました。
It is Engine Simulator which can give the dummy signal of the engine in the same way as operation time. I can create the various situation from the change of the turn to the trouble of the sensor. With the machine parts which Detroit diesel MTU produced, I can study the troubleshooting of the engine without choosing the place.
The next photograph is MTU-4000 engines, but can easily move it alone. An engine hanger becomes the air jack. Therefore I can move it lightly.
これはある国産４サイクルエンジンのピストンです。トラブルをおこしてリングが固着しています。
ＯＩＬ選びなども慎重におこないたいですね。

ＧＭの２サイクルディーゼルエンジンには、ルーツブロワーがあります。チューニングされたアメ車のエンジンでボンネットから見えているあれです。このブロワーが強制的にシリンダーに空気をおくりこんでいます。
専用工具を使用して、ベアリングなどを交換しているところです。

シリンダーヘッドのバルブステムリングを交換しています。
打ち込みには、窒素を使用します。シートカットは加工屋さんへ頼みすり合わせをして仕上げです。ＳＳＴはベテランメカニックのアドバイスをもとに、京浜島の旋盤屋さんが製作しました。図面を書く人も作る人もすごいです。
I change the valve stem ring of the cylinder head. The installation of the ring cools it with nitrogen and fits it in the cylinder head.
An expert worker designed the tool which took off a ring. The thing of the photograph is original SST.
当り面の良くないバルブです。軽度の物は研摩して再使用しますが、このヘッドはリングと一緒に交換しました。

I change the thing which does not have a revision by the abrasion of the valve.
ヒートエクスチェンジャーのオーバーホール作業。
清掃中にラジエターキャップのベースに不良を発見した物。写真のパイプ状の部分でつまりがひどく、清掃ぐらいでは改善が見られないので、交換しました。
The thing which discovered a delinquent to the base of the cap during cleaning. It is full of pipe of the photograph-shaped parts.
Because improvement was not seen by the cleaning, I changed it.

ターボやブローバイガスなどでかなり汚れています。

With the blowby gas of the engine, it is stained with black.

このクラッチはピニオンギヤ関係の部品を交換しギヤ比を変更しました。
部品の確保やお客様への納期など、簡単な作業ではありませんが出来る限りご要望に答えられるように努力しています。
This clutch changed a pinion gear-related part and changed the gear ratio.
※SSTはクラッチにより種類があり、当社で分解できない物もあります。

MTU2000-16Vを使用しての、ダイアグノーシス点検講習。実際にエラーを解消するのは、難しいです。
あくまでセンサーなどの信号をコンピューターが知らせてくれるだけなので、機械的な不良はそれをもとに作業者が発見し解消しなければなりません。

清水漏れでエンジンオーバーホール依頼のあったMAN D2848LE401エンジン。源因追求のためテストしていたところ、排気菅にてクラックを発見！ 交換になりました。排気ガスにクーラントが混じっていたら早めに点検してください。

ＧＭ用のインジェクターオーバーホール作業。チップとプランジャーの組み合わせで、数え切れないタイプがあります。
By the tip and the combination of the plunger, I can change the type (a kind) of the syringe.

当社所有のプレジャーボートに搭載されているエンジン。スピードが出なくなってきているためピストンの圧縮圧力を測定しました。マニュアルでは18bar以上が良好、１６を切ったらリペアーと記載されています。このエンジンは１部１４barを切るシリンダーが発見された為オーバーホールすることになりました。
左右同時にオーバーホールを行って、復旧後の試運転では以前の最大速力２８．２ノットへ戻りました。
作業前は２５ノット前後です。
There is the ship that a vessel speed became slow than before by our possession ship. Therefore there was the thing which was less than 14BAR in one cylinder when I measured the compression pressure of the piston of the engine. I considered it in driving time and overhauled it fully decisively.
メーカーのマニュアルにそって、エンジンを時間で管理し予防整備を実施していけば故障の減少につながります。
これら想定外のコストを回避すれば、整備に掛かる費用は結果的に抑えられると思います。
このブロックはコンロッドが折れて穴を開けてしまいました。
I can prevent the big trouble if I manage the engine according to the instructions of the maker by time.

中はスラッジがこびりついて、簡単にはきれいになりません。
長く使用されたヘッドでは、あばたが表面に出来てきます。またゆがみも規定値を上回る物は修整しています.平面研磨して修正をかけたヘッドが帰ってくると下のような感じです。
In the head used for a long time, a pockmark is made on the surface.
The part which does not belong under a standard value works on abrasion.
ピストン、スリーブの交換作業。予算に応じて整備しています。このエンジンは腰下（クランクのメインベアリングなど）はそのままでピストンやヘッドまわりを作業しました。

MTU講習の８V-2000エンジンとEUP(electronic unit injector pump)のカットモデル。
ソレノイドをコンピューターが管理して、通常１ストロークに１回の燃料噴射を数回行っています。このため燃費や出力特性が機械式の噴射ポンプより数段アップ。MTUのコモンレールエンジンはこれを元に発展しています。

水温が高いと言われヒートエクスチェンジャーを開けてみると、中にはたくさんのごみが！
海水ポンプのインペラーなど交換したときに、ブレードがなくなっていたらさがして取り除きましょう。
ここまで汚れていると、清掃前と後とで違いは明白です。

アリソンMHクラッチより異音が発生。分解してみるとピニオンシャフトとベアリングにダメージがありました。

Such a trouble must evade it. Therefore everyday check is necessary.
船内オーバーホール作業風景。観光船の定期検査に合わせた５年に１度のイベントです。GM2サイクルエンジン６V-71を２機、クラッチ２機、発電機１機、及び船体下回りの作業を２週間で行います。
